Childminders provide childcare, in the childminders home. Their duties include providing a safe, loving environment and helping children’s physical, communication and language and personal, social and emotional development.
All childminders are registered with Ofsted, hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and have been DBS checked.
Some childminders offer Tax Free Childcare places and/or 2-, 3- & 4-year-old 15/30hrs Early Education and Childcare Places.
The childminding team can support parents/carers with locating an Ofsted registered childminder by emailing the following information:
- Parent/carer name
- Contact number
- Post code
- Child’s DOB
- Days required
- Hours required
- Start Date
- What bus/station you travel to and from
- Names of childminders you have already spoken to.
