London Ambitions aims to raise aspirations and make young people more employable. It was created by London Councils, representing all the capital’s boroughs, in partnership with the Mayor of London and the London Enterprise Panel. Wandsworth was the first London borough to put it into practice.
The new careers cluster means the council and South Thames College will work with local employers, universities and schools to create careers sessions that help students make the right decision about what to do after they leave school – whether that’s further education, training and apprenticeships or employment
