Connexions - Battersea

The service provides information and advice for young people to help them make decisions and choices in life.

This is for young people aged 13-19 (or up to 24 years old if they have a learning difficulty, disability or special need.)

Personal Advisors provide specialist careers guidance and can give practical support in the following areas:

  • job hunting;
  • IT access;
  • college search;
  • form filling; and
  • CV writing.

To use the service you must live or attend school or college in Wandsworth. You do not have to book to use the service. You can either telephone or drop in and talk to a personal advisor. There is also a national service and website that can be contacted for further advice.

There are several PC terminals with internet access, a confidential space for advice and support around personal matters, and good links to FE, HE training including apprenticeships and employment opportunities.

Connexions also offer a duty service, where young people can drop in. These are at:

Caius House Youth Club:

  • Tuesdays: 4:00 - 6:00pm
  • Fridays: 3:00 - 5:00pm

Devas Youth Club:

  • Thursdays: 7:00 - 9:00pm
