At stay and play parents and carers can learn how to include play in everyday routines.
The sessions are aimed at dads, mums and carers with children aged 0-3 years.
The session provides:
- opportunities to make friends and socialise for both parents/carers and children;
- support for parents through sharing experiences;
- the chance for children to explore their creativity; and
- advice on child development.
There is no need to book, just turn up. When you attend a session please bring old clothes, as you may get messy!
Remember: in the school holidays we can take children up to the age of 7 years, so you can bring your older ones with your younger ones.
On Monday 27 and Friday 31 August 2018, there will be an 'Open Access Stay and Play', where the room will be set up so families can come in for any length of time between the normal session hours, and there will be lots of free play with much less structure.
