Sports Stars @ St Michael’s offers fun, active and action-packed holiday camps for children aged 5 to 12 in Wandsworth.
Led by our enthusiastic sports coaches and activity leaders, each day is filled with multi-sports, team games, challenges and exciting activities. It’s holiday childcare children genuinely look forward to, giving parents peace of mind while they stay active, make friends, build confidence and have a brilliant time.
Based at St Michael’s in Wandsworth, our Ofsted-registered holiday camps give children an exciting place to spend their school holidays, while providing parents with reliable, high-quality childcare.
At Sports Stars, we believe keeping active should be fun. Our camps are designed to get children moving, playing and working together through a varied programme of sports, games, challenges and team activities. Whether your child is already sports-mad or simply enjoys being active and having fun with friends, Sports Stars gives everyone the opportunity to get involved.
Our programme includes a varied mix of traditional sports, team games, fun challenges, competitions and active activities. We focus on variety rather than specialising in one particular sport, giving children opportunities to try different activities, discover new favourites and develop a broad range of skills.
Sports Stars is led by our experienced sports coaches and activity leaders, who create a positive and encouraging environment where the emphasis is on participation, enjoyment and teamwork. Activities are adapted for different ages and abilities, helping children feel confident joining in without the pressure of needing to be the fastest, strongest or most experienced.
No previous sporting experience or particular level of ability is required. Sports Stars is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable, encouraging children to challenge themselves, celebrate their achievements and support one another. Along the way, children can develop confidence, coordination, communication, teamwork and independence – all while staying active and having a brilliant time.
Our St Michael’s holiday camps run during selected Wandsworth school holidays, including half terms, Easter and the summer holidays. Our standard camp day runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with optional extended childcare available until 5:30pm, providing flexibility for working parents and families looking for school holiday childcare in Wandsworth.
Each school holiday brings a varied programme of activities, so returning Sports Stars can enjoy new games and challenges alongside familiar favourites. Selected camps may also include special activities, themed challenges, workshops or excursions, adding even more excitement to the school holidays.
We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment and welcome children with SEND and additional needs wherever we are able to safely meet their individual requirements. Sports Stars is part of Taylor Academy of Performing Arts Ltd, alongside our Bop Stars programme. While Bop Stars focuses on performing arts, creativity and imaginative play, Sports Stars provides a dedicated programme for children who love getting active, playing games and taking on new challenges.
For parents, our aim is to provide reliable school holiday childcare they can feel confident about. For children, we want Sports Stars to be a place where they can get moving, make friends, try new things and come home excited to tell you about their day.

Sports Stars aims to provide an inclusive and welcoming holiday camp where children with SEND and additional needs can participate alongside their peers wherever we are able to safely meet their individual needs.
We encourage parents and carers to contact us before booking to discuss their child’s needs, including any additional support, communication, sensory, behavioural, medical or accessibility requirements. This allows us to understand each child as an individual, consider reasonable adjustments and discuss how we can best support them during camp.
Our team can adapt activities and participation where appropriate, recognising that children may engage in different ways and at their own pace. Trained first aiders are present throughout camp. Children bring their own packed lunch, snacks and drinks, and parents are asked to provide details of medical conditions, allergies, medication and additional needs when booking.
Where a child requires more significant or specialist support, we will work with their family to discuss whether our setting can safely and appropriately meet their needs and what arrangements may be possible.
Our aim is for every child attending Sports Stars @ St Michael’s to feel welcomed, included, supported and able to enjoy a positive, fun and creative school holiday experience.
