Wandsworth HAF
The next Wandsworth Council - HAF programme will run from 21st July - 28th August 2026.
The booking link will open at the beginning of July.
The Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) to provide funded holiday provision, including healthy food and enriching activities, for children and young people who are:
- In school years reception to year 11
- In receipt of benefits-related free school meals
- Either attending school in Wandsworth or living in Wandsworth
Please note children attending primary school in receipt of the universal free school meals offer are not eligible for the HAF Programme.
If you are currently not in receipt of benefits-related free school meals (FSM), but think you may be eligible, you can visit Free School Meals/Eligibility Checker. If the check is successful, you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility. Please email the certificate to WandsworthHAF@wandsworth.gov.uk to enable us to add you as eligible on our booking system. Please also contact your child’s school directly to notify them of your eligibility.
If you do not receive benefit related free school meals, you may be eligible if you are*:
- Looked After Child
- Young carer
- Refugee or Asylum Seeker
- Child or young person who has Special Education Needs and disabilities (SEND) or on a EHCP up to the age of 25
*Under the DfE guidance we can only accept 15% non-benefit related FSM children.
Some providers may offer paid places for those not eligible for HAF.

- returning to school feeling engaged and ready to learn
How to book?
- From 22nd June, click on the black 'Find and book tickets' button above to view our programme of activities and choose options with your child/ren.
- You can filter the activities by age and by location, but you can go anywhere in Wandsworth to attend an activity!
- All places are booked on a first come, first served basis. However, there may be cancellations, so add your name to a waiting list and all interested parents will receive an email - at the same time.
- You will be able to see all the activities, what time they start and finish, and where they are located on your profile homepage, making it easier for you to know where to go.
- If a child can no longer attend a booked space - please cancel or contact the Provider immediately, so we can offer another child the space. Persistent no shows (without cancelling or informing the provider) could risk the child being able to attend future activities.
