At AFC Wimbledon we believe the community deserves every opportunity to succeed, and that every young person deserves a chance to access sports, educational workshops, pathways, mentoring and their full potential. Through our kicks scheme, we are able to open a door and help young people begin their journey to levelling themselves, and their game, up. Our session is free and open to all, we run across Merton and Wandsworth and look to make local and widespread impact.

Each session is run by professionally trained staff and are quality assured every 6 weeks.

We have a strike system in place for bad behaviour, and work closely with partners to ensure we know what has been happening in the local area and can help our young people at each session.

As coaches we have a unique avenue to build a rapport and communicate with young people, and we work to ensure EDI is a priority at every session, as well as safeguarding and fun!

Inclusion Information

AFC Wimbledon welcomes all young people to attend this session.

Please note that the session is delivered within a mainstream environment and involves a high level of physical activity, movement and engagement at a fast pace. While we strive to make reasonable adjustments wherever possible and have experience supporting participants with a range of additional needs, the nature of the session means it may not be suitable for everyone.

If you are unsure whether the session is appropriate for your child or would like to discuss any support requirements, please contact us in advance and we will be happy to advise.
