What is Wandsworth's Disabled Children's Register (DCR)?

The Disabled Children's Register (DCR) records details of children and young people in Wandsworth who have a physical or learning disability. 

The Register collects information on children and young people under 18 years old.

What are the benefits of registering?

You will:

  • receive regular information on services for you and/or your child or young person, via eNewsletters
  • be able to apply for a WAND CARD, if you meet the criteria; and
  • have your say on influencing services in Wandsworth.


The information is used:

  • to help the London Borough of Wandsworth, local health services and providers plan appropriate services in the borough;
  • for parents, carers, children and young people to have a voice and ensure that the London Borough of Wandsworth and other services are aware of your needs and demand for services in the borough; and
  • to provide regular up to date information to children and young people with a disability or special need, as well as parents, carers.

Young people who are aged 18 up to 24 years of age, may be eligible for a WAND+ Card which will give you access to the same discounts and concessions as a WAND Card holder.
