Seahorse Day Nursery - Southfields

Seahorse Day Nursery is located within the grounds of Linden Lodge School and has beautiful secure outdoor space as well as exciting and engaging classrooms and a sensory room filled with soft play for exploring and learning. Only a short walk from Southfields tube station, we are ideal for commuting parents. We enrol children from 9 months to school age. We are open from 07:45 – 18:30 offering all year educational day care.

Seahorse Day Nursery nurtures all children’s desire to learn, socialise and gain independence through play and first-hand experiences. We provide a safe, caring environment in which your child will be able to form secure relationships, learn, make friends and most importantly be happy and have fun. The atmosphere is relaxed and nurturing within an attractive and appealing environment.  We follow a play based pedagogy (Learning through Play) and provide purposeful play-based opportunities for each baby, toddler and child. We incorporate different pedagogue styles including elements of Montessori teaching, Forest school education, the slow education movement and mindfulness. We believe using a blend of teaching styles complements the Early Years Foundation Stage and provides additional benefits to your child’s long term well-being, learning and development.
