Kids Lady Allen Adventure Playground
Lady Allen Adventure playground is temporarily closed from Monday 23 February until June 2026 to allow for exciting improvement works. Please keep an eye on this page for further updates.
Kids Lady Allen Adventure Playground After-School Care, Saturday Club and Holiday Play Schemes provide adventurous play for children with disabilities living in the Borough of Wandsworth.
Sessions at Kids Lady Allen Playground are for children and young people with disabilities between the ages of 6 years - 14 years, and their siblings.
The playground offers outdoor and indoor facilities on a secure site including:
- large outdoor structures
- treehouses
- sandpits
- swings
- seesaw
- indoor climbing area and slide
- soft play area
- dressing-up
- arts and crafts
- range of scooters, bikes, trikes
If you are interested in a place for your child, please contact us to find out about current availability of places.
Registration details and an assessment of support needs will need to be completed prior to your child attending a session.
Our playground has a one staff member to four children support ratio.
If your child’s disability requires a higher level of staffing support, you will need to contact the Supporting Disabled Children Service. This applies to After-School Care, Holiday Play schemes and Saturday sessions.

Open Access
The playground is also open to any child who is accompanied by a supervising parent/carer. There is no charge for open access sessions but you can make a donation if you wish.
Open Access times:
Monday to Thursday - 3pm to 5:30pm term time.
Saturday - 10am to 4pm term time

Costs
(1:1 support funded by local authority + parent pays £5.00 per session)
£4.00 per session for low income families by arrangement.
Note: The service is core funded by the London Borough of Wandsworth and as such it is primarily for Wandsworth residents the costs detailed above refer to Wandsworth children and young people only. Children from other boroughs can attend, spaces permitting but the costs of this would need to be discussed and agreed with playground staff in advance.
