Bloom in Nature 'Balham' Childcare is a a childminding setting based in a domestic home environment in Balham, Sarsfeld Road. Our two domestic environments run by us sisters, Jannine and Joy, are situated in Sarsfeld Road in Balham and Honeywell Road in Battersea. Both settings accommodate only up to 10 children aged between 0-2 years in a nurturing, intimate home environment, catering to parents who seek a small, personalized setting for their little ones. Inspired by our own challenges as parents in finding suitable childcare, we established our childminding houses driven by core values and high standards consisting of interactive playrooms and access to outdoor space all year round.
Our family-owned business now has four settings located across Battersea and Balham, two childmnd houses and our two new larger settning which care for children ages 0-4 years old. Our two new larger settings also provides a nurturing and high-quality childcare experience that combines the best of both worlds: a relaxed family home environment and a nursery feel. Our two new settings, ‘Honeyhive’ in Balham which is just a 2 minute walk from our domestic premises on Sarsfeld Road; and our newest nursery in ‘Battersea Heathbrook’ offer a unique blend of a home-from-home atmosphere combined with the structured environment of a nursery for up to thirty children. This unique approach ensures that children experience the warmth and comfort of a personalised nurturing environment while also benefiting from the engaging in EYFS activities and structured routines typically found in a childcare facility. Additionally, children from our domestic premises can automatically transition to the nursery settings once turning 2 if they wish, serving as a feeder school for their continued development.
Jannine, our lead caregiver, brings over 10 years of experience working with children and is a credible Ofsted registered childminder based in Balham with outstanding references, special educational needs experience, and all necessary safeguarding paperwork, she ensures that each child's care is tailored to their unique needs and all parents are kept informed of their children's progress using a very good app called 'Blossom' which each parent can download.
At Bloom in Nature, we create a happy and safe environment where children build confidence through daily activities and explore their talents and interests using a blend of holistic approaches methodologies including Montessori and curiosity-driven approaches. We prioritize promoting a healthy lifestyle and food education, encouraging informed choices and independence. In doing so, we provide nutritious homemade meals, rich in essential minerals and vitamins, ensuring children remain active and joyful throughout the day.
