10x10 Guides for Children and Young People in Wandsworth
Check out the brand new 10x10 and 10xTeen programme launched by Wandsworth Council! Every activity has been designed to be inclusive and accessible, ensuring all young people, including those with additional needs, can take part and find something they love.
The 10x10 guide introduces ten fun, accessible and low-cost (or free) activities for children to enjoy before the age of ten, from trying a new sport, to joining a youth club or discovering what’s on at their local library.
10x10 Guide for children aged up to 10
Building on this, the 10xTeen programme offers even more exciting opportunities for older children and teenagers, from creative workshops and sports sessions to volunteering and youth leadership projects, helping them develop new skills, make connections and have fun close to home.
10xTeen Guide for young people aged 11 to 16 years old
The 10x10 and 10xTeen guides were created in collaboration with local children and young people, who helped shape the activities and design. The council worked with partners across libraries, leisure centres, youth services, and community organisations to make sure every child can find something that inspires them.
The guides are available online at Play Commonplace, and printed copies will be shared through schools, Family Hubs, libraries, leisure and youth centres.
