My name is Zainab Black, an Ofsted Registered childminder living in Wandsworth with my young son. We live in a clean two bedroom flat just off Wandsworth Road, near to Battersea Park rail station, Vauxhall Train and Bus station and Queenstown Road rail station. Easy walking to Battersea Park, Chesterton play Centre and Yvonne Carr Centre and Oasis Children Nature Garden, where we will attend children’s activities in order to engage and enrich your children's full potential development.

I would consider myself to have a caring nature, patient, loving, reliable, flexible and trustworthy. I offer a warm and safe environment for your children to flourish. Children in my care will learn through both adult and children led play. The type of activities your child will take part in are sensory play, British values, story time, music time, circle time, arts and crafts, children’s centre, soft gym, messy play, jumba, and trips to local activities such visiting farms and parks. These activities will include diversity toys, books, culture as well as food this includes supporting home learning and culture.

Within my setting I follow EYFS framework which includes planning your child’s development, activities and ensuring they are age appropriate. I will observe your child which will enable me plan the level of development your child's capability therefore provide the right support needed for each individual child and keep parent well inform about their child's progress. My main goal is to ensure your children are well equip with enough knowledge to go through the transition to start primary School in accordance with Ofsted EYFS frame guide. I also provide flexible hours to suit different families, this can be discuss during consultation.

I offer a settling in period. These sessions are an essential time for you, your child and I to get to know each other including my settings

I welcome children from all backgrounds. Activities and cultures of all families are reflected in the toys, books and images at my setting.

I will be buddying with another local childminder in case of staffing emergencies. Parents will be informed if this is ever the case.

Costs

£12 per hour includes meals and snacks for full time children and snacks only for after schools children depending on the length of stay.
£12 per 8 hours at £96 a day or £12 per 10 hours a day at £120.
