NSPCC - Talk PANTS

Talk PANTS – the Underwear Rule is devised by the NSPCC as an online resource  to help keep children safe from sexual abuse. This service offers simple child friendly rules without using scary words and no mention of sex.

This service is for parents and professionals to find age appropriate information and  materials to help children be more aware that their body is private.

 The word ” PANTS” stands for:

  •         Privates are private
  •         Always remember your body belongs to you
  • ·       No means no
  •         Talk about secrets that upset you
  •         Speak up, someone can help

It has a selection of useful videos in several commonly used languages, and advice for parents of both deaf children and those with disabilities.
