We are Kinship. The leading kinship care charity in England and Wales. We’re here for kinship carers – friends or family who step up to raise a child when their parents aren’t able to. We are made by, and for, our community of kinship carers.
We deliver national support, advice and information and connect kinship carers. So they feel empowered rather than isolated.
The helpline and website are for kinship carers when they take on the caring role in difficult family circumstances.
The service offers advice and support on topics including:
- local support groups;
- kinship care;
- money;
- work;
- housing;
- legal advice;
- education; and childcare.
