Metro Charity - Sexual Health Support for Young People

Metro Charity is a community charity that provides sexual health support in Wandsworth. We provide support to both young people who live, work or socialise in Wandsworth and professionals who encounter young people in their day-to-day work.

Support for young people

We offer both in person and online support for young people. For online support any young person who lives in Wandsworth can go to our website getit.org.uk for advice, free condoms and free STI testing. Young people can also sign up for the C-Card which allows them to collect condoms from local pharmacies, schools, GPs and youth clubs. They can find out how to sign up by visiting comecorrect.org.uk.

We can also offer support through assemblies, RSE lessons, and drop-in sessions which allow young people the opportunity to ask questions, receive signposting to local services and receive free condoms and STI test kits.

Support for professionals

We offer both online and in-person free training to any professional who works with young people within Wandsworth. This includes CSP (chlamydia screening programme) training that upon completion allows professionals to provide test kits to the young people they work with, as well as C-Card training which upon completion allows staff to sign up young people to C-Cards and distribute condoms. All test kits and condoms are provided for free by Metro.
