Tram House School
Tram House School is an independent special school for autistic pupils aged 11 to 19.
Our fundamental belief is that every child and young adult has the potential to succeed and make a unique and significant contribution to society. We focus on understanding the journey that our pupils are on and the need to build their skills and understanding as far as possible, whilst equipping them with meaningful qualifications and the resilience to use these in their future lives.
Each of our pupils is provided with a truly personalised curriculum and one-to-one support by dedicated and passionate staff using teaching strategies underpinned by Behaviour Analysis.
Our school community is vital to us and this is built on a trusting relationship with parents and carers, as well as extending into the local community as we develop meaningful learning experiences for our young adults as they move into their adult lives.

Referral Information
To be eligible for admission to Tram House School pupils must:
- Have a diagnosis of autism or a related communication disorder
- Have an EHCP or Statement of Special Educational Needs or be in the process of gaining one
- Have the appropriate age, skills and behaviour for the vacancy that exists.
- Live within a feasible commuting distance (defined as a journey time of no more than 90 minutes in accordance with Google Maps).
