Speech and Language Therapy (Children)
Speech and Language therapists work with children and young people who have speech and language impairments and difficulties. Therapists work across a range of areas to diagnose and treat these conditions.
This service is for children and young people aged 0 to 16 years.
The speech and language therapy service offers help for children and young people with
- Language difficulties or language disorder (e.g. Developmental Language Disorder)
- Speech sounds difficulties
- Stammering/stuttering
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder or Social communication differences
- Selective mutism
- Mild, moderate or severe learning difficulties
- Hearing Impairment

Professionals working with families or parent/carers in Wandsworth can make a referral using the referral form here: https://forms.office.com/e/4Z3Q1bePTS Please note, the child you are referring must be registered to a Wandsworth GP, aged between 0 and 18 years and you must have parental consent.
