Royal Academy of Dance
Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is one of the world’s most influential dance education organisations. We’ve been teaching the world to dance for over 100 years and believe passionately in its power to transform lives for the better.
At the RAD's global headquarters, we welcome everyone to join our programme of weekly dance classes in a variety of dance styles.
Focusing on creativity and musicality, the RAD's Ballet exams motivate and reward students of all ages and abilities.
Classes for children include:
- Ballet (age 3+)
- Graded, Primary-Grade 8
- Vocational Ballet, Intermediate Foundation - Advanced 2
- Pointe
- Commercial Jazz (age 4 - 13)
- Creative and Contemporary (age 7+)
- Family Dance (2+ with parent/carer)
- Hip-hop (age 4 - 17)
- Musical Theatre
- Stretch and Strength (age 7 - 17)
- RADiate SEND Creative dance (age 4-11)
Classes for adults include:
- Ballet (Beginners to Advanced)
- Contemporary
- Discovering Repertoire Syllabus and Exams
- Jazz
- Stretch & Strength
- Silver Swans (recommended for age 55+)
- Move to the Musicals (recommended for age 55+)
- Fireflies Ballet for the Cancer Community
