Falcons School
We are a warm and caring school, taking great pride in developing our pupils into happy, kind and confident individuals. Rated 'Excellent' in 2020, we have high expectations of all our pupils, and tailor learning to individual needs. In Year 6, pupils are offered places at the country’s top day and boarding schools following their 11+ examinations and leave us as resourceful, self-aware and inquisitive girls.
Girls engage in lessons in all of the subjects you might expect to find at a prep school including English, Maths, Science and Art as well as others you may not expect, such as Coding and Votes for Schools. The curriculum is further enhanced with a diverse range of trips and educational visits. As well as this we provide a rich extra-curricular programme that ranges from Street Dance and Yoga to Photography and cross country. Small classes, specialist teachers and a pupil leadership program ensure all girls flourish at Falcons.
Our pupils benefit from having two large playgrounds, an IT suite complete with Macs, two libraries, a science lab, dedicated art and music rooms, and ample hall space for drama and music productions. Pupils in Nursery to Year 1 also have weekly Ballet lessons in our studio with mirrors and barre, and regular Forest School sessions in our on-site forest area.
Falcons School for Girls is inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
