With its state of the art facilities, the maternity unit at St Thomas' Hospital offers among the best services in London, according to the Care Quality Commission.
The hospital provides maternity care for women during their:
- pregnancy;
- labour; and
- after the birth of their baby.
This is mainly for women who live in Lambeth, Southwark and parts of Lewisham. The hospital does accept women from outside the local catchment area if capacity allows, particularly if they have complex maternity need.
