Disability Access Fund - Info for Providers and Parents/Carers
The purpose of the Disability Access Fund (DAF) is to help children with special educational needs or disabilities (SENDs) to find places in Early Education settings.
3 and 4 year olds are eligible for the DAF if they:
- are in receipt of disability living allowance (DLA) and;
- receive free early education.
The setting they attend will be entitled to receive an amount per year to provide ongoing support for the child.
Please see the document under 'Downloads' for more information and for an interim declaration form for parents and carers.
