Early Years Advisory Service
The Early Years Advisory Team provide tailored support for nursery and reception classes.
They work in partnership with the school link advisers, and the feedback gathered provides a comprehensive overview of the school's progress to support further strategic planning by the school's leadership team.
Each visit is unique and is based on the settings needs or observation findings.
Some recent nursery and reception class visits have covered a range of areas, including:
- continuous provision
- quality adult interactions
- room layout
- phonics support
- review of planning and assessment
- the outdoor learning environment
- incorporating the child’s interest
- routines
