The immunisation team delivers all school-aged immunisation across Wandsworth borough. 

The vaccinations they offer are:

Diphtheria, Tetanus & Polio (3 in 1) and Meningitis ACWY vaccinations

Measles, Mumps and Rubella (3 in 1 Vaccination)

HPV vaccine for Year 8 boys and girls, (children aged 14 to 17 are eligible for a catch up if missed)

Influenza vaccine offered to school age children from reception to year 11

Kingston and Richmond NHS Trust provide the BCG vaccination to eligible infants across Wandsworth.

The BCG vaccination protects against TB meningitis in the younger age group and is a targeted vaccination, which means it is only offered to babies if they meet strict eligibility criteria. 

  • Aged between 28 days and 12 months old, living in Wandsworth and have a parent or grandparent born in a country where the annual incidence of TB is 40 in 100,000 or greater (see the WHO website for current countries).
