Healthy Start Card
With Healthy Start you may be able to get a card topped up with money every week, which you can use for milk, fruit, vegetables, pulses and infant formula milk. You can also get free vitamins.
If you are pregnant or have children under the age of four and are on benefits, you could qualify. If you're pregnant and under 18 you could also qualify.
The Health Start website also covers subjects including:
- healthy eating during pregnancy;
- breastfeeding; and
- recipes.

Healthy Start vitamins can be picked up from the following locations:
Battersea
- Yvonne Carr Children’s Centre - 2 Thessaly Road, SW8 2HT
- Wednesday: 1pm - 3pm
Roehampton
- Eastwood Children’s Centre - 166 Roehampton Lane, SW15 4HR
- Monday: 1:30pm - 4:30pm
- Wednesday: 9:30am - 1:30pm
Tooting
- Fayland Children’s Centre - Fayland Avenue, SW16 1SY
- Tuesday and Thursday 1:30pm - 2:45pm (term time only)
- Friday: 10am - 11:15am (term time only)
Please note that Wandsworth residents with a Healthy Start card can pick up from any of these locations.
