Tourettes Action is a charity working to make life better for people with Tourette Syndrome.
Tourette Syndrome (TS) is an inherited, neurological condition, the key features of which are tics, involuntary and uncontrollable sounds and movements. TS is a complex condition and covers a wide spectrum of symptoms.
Tourettes Action can give you guidance on how to deal with Tourette Syndrome in everyday circumstances:
- Advice for young people about what it means to have TS and where to find support.
- Guidance for parents and pupils on accessing support in school.
- Advice for people with TS about what it means at work.
- Support in everyday life, including housing, benefits and transport.
