Hurlingham School
Hurlingham School is an independent (fee-paying) co-educational nursery and pre-preparatory school located in Putney for children aged 2 - 11.
Originally founded in 1947, the school now occupies a modern, purpose-built premises adjacent to Wandsworth Park in Putney Bridge Road.
The history of Hurlingham School dates back to 1947, when it was known as “Miss Rosemary Whitehead’s Kindergarten Class”: in the early years the school occupied premises in Fulham High Street and Deodar Road, Putney.
Children join the Nursery in the term in which they turn three. Places may be available at other times. Children may enter the Reception class in the autumn term after they turn four. Nursery and Reception places are offered a year before a child’s entry.
Hurlingham School is non-denominational and non-selective – children of all abilities and faiths are encouraged to apply.
