Child Sexual Exploitation - Say Something Helpline

The Say Something campaign helps children and young people to think about listening to their instinct; if it doesn’t feel right – tell someone.

The Say Something campaign helps children and young people to:

  • be aware that it is not OK for someone to expect them or their friends to do things they don’t want to
  • think about particular people who are nice to them or are flirty who may want something in return later on
  • not put all their trust in one person
  • be wary! reminding them people don’t get anything for free!
  • watch out for signs that other young people or adults might be risky – and listen to what advice their friends give them about other people.
  • remember that people don’t always look their age.

The National Working Group are committed to the fight against child sexual exploitation and supporting victims and their families who are subjected to child sexual exploitation.
