MARAC - Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference on Domestic Violence

The MARAC is a monthly risk management meeting, which brings together different agencies from across the borough, in order to provide a coordinated response to those at the highest risk of domestic violence.

MARAC enables professionals to work together to ensure the safety of people living in Wandsworth who are at the highest risk of harm from domestic violence and abuse.

Through the MARAC:

  • Different organisations can share confidential information in order to gain a clearer picture of the situation;
  • An Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) who will contact you to offer support and advice, their goal is your safety; and
  • Assistance with emergency accommodation and much more.

If you believe you are at high risk of harm, speak to your support worker for a referral. Otherwise contact the community safety service team.

If you are in immediate danger call 999
