Early Years Parent Champions
What is it?
Parent Champions is an award winning parent-to-parent outreach programme (Coram Family and Childcare Scheme of the year 2022). Early Years Parent Champions are trained parent/carer volunteers who meet and talk to other parents about Early Education and Childcare and other local services available within the borough. They support families to apply for the 15 hours of funded Early Education that some 2 year olds may be eligible to receive and to signpost them to other Early Years services within the borough.
How can Parent Champions help you ?
If you're confused about your options for childcare and other services, our Parent Champions can guide you through what is available They will share their own experiences and the struggles with childcare as a parent. They can give you advice and let you know what has helped make parenting easier for them.
