Family Planning Association

The Family Planning Association (FPA) is a sexual health charity which gives straightforward information, advice and support on sexual health, sex and relationships.

The FPA sexual health website can give you confidential information and advice and provide booklets on:

  • contraception methods
  • common sexually transmitted infections
  • pregnancy choices, abortion and planning a pregnancy.

They can also give you details of:

  • contraception clinics
  • sexual health and genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinics
  • sexual assault referral centres.

The website is full of information and there is also an online shop where you can order resources.

The FPA also run a number of community projects including their "Speakeasy" courses, which help parents and carers gain confidence and skills to talk to their children about sex, relationships and sexuality.
