Immunisations

This site (ooposite) contains comprehensive, accurate and up to date information for children, young people, parents and health professionals about how vaccines can protect you from viruses and why you should be immunised.

The site covers the ages when all babies, children and young people should be immunised.

The site:

  • allows parents to down load a personalised planner to enable them to print out a calendar of when vacinations should take place;
  • has clear information on Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR);
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV); and
  • Influenza (Flu) and other vacinations.

If you have a specific medical question or need personal medical advice, you should contact a health professional at your local clinic or surgery.

There is also a document attached to this page (opposite, under 'Downloads') that gives guidance on when your child should have their jabs.
