Job Centre Plus Wandsworth

Jobcentre Plus is a government agency supporting people of working age from welfare into paid employment, and helping employers to fill their vacancies.
Anybody can contact them for advice.
Jobcentre Plus is a part of the Department for Work and Pensions. They aim to:
- help more people into paid work
- help employers fill their vacancies, and
- give people of working age the help and support they are entitled to if they cannot work.
For short term unemployed people -18-24 year olds who have been unmployed for less than 9 months and 25 year olds plus who have been unemployed for less than 12 months - Jobcentre Plus have a variety of training, jobsearch and courses designed to support them into employment.
For long term Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) customers and those on Employment Support Allowance (ESA), the Work and Health Programme can provide individually tailored support into employment , and to provide further support if required while in employment.
