Wandsworth Children and Young People's SEND Joint Commissioning Strategy 2022-27

Following the consultations held last year, Wandsworth have now published the Children & Young People's SEND Joint Commissioning Stratey 2022-27

Children and young people with SEND need services across education, health and social care to work together so they can achieve their full potential. This document sets out Wandsworth’s strategic approach to the joint commissioning of services for children and young people aged 0-25 with SEND in Wandsworth.  It has been developed in partnership with children and young people with SEND, their families, and professionals.

The strategy addresses how the South West London Integrated Care Board (SWLICB) and Wandsworth Local Authority (LA) will work together to deliver integrated, needs based and outcome focused support services for our young people. This will be through a mixture of joint commissioning of new provision, improving and redesigning existing provision, and innovative approaches. It provides an update on what we have achieved so far in our joint commissioning and partnership working and sets out our key priority areas over the next 5-year period.
