Broomwood Hall School

Broomwood Hall School is an independent (fee-paying) co-educational pre-preparatory and preparatory school for boys and girls aged 4-8, and girls aged 8-13 located in Balham.
There are two pre-preparatory departments which are run in parallel and are based in Ramsden Road and Nightingale Lane, SW12 and at Garrad's Road in SW16. There is a strict catchment area policy for children under the age of 8.
The school is run on traditional lines, with a Christian philosophy and ethos. Boys leave the school at age 8 and have the option to attend a separate boys' day preparatory school, Northcote Lodge on Bolingbroke Grove, to which Broomwood Hall boys have priority of entry.
Girls transfer automatically at age 8 to the Upper School, which is a girls' preparatory school and follows the same Common Entrance curriculum as Northcote Lodge.
