Park House School is an independent special school for pupils with autism aged 4 to 11, rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
Our fundamental belief is that every child has the potential to succeed and make a unique and significant contribution to society. We have taken the time to understand what this really means for the pupils and families that make up our school community and we use this knowledge to deliver a functional and creative curriculum; that promotes independence, total communication, love of learning and inspiring relationships.
Each of our pupils is provided with a truly personalised curriculum and one-to-one support by dedicated and passionate staff using teaching methods underpinned by Behaviour Analysis.
We believe in open door classrooms and work in close partnership with parents/carers and the wider community to ensure the success of our pupils. We welcome visits and collaborative working to ensure the best possible impact and to deliver meaningful outcomes.

To be eligible for admission to Park House School pupils must:
- Have a diagnosis of autism or a related communication disorder
- Have an EHCP or Statement of Special Educational Needs or be in the process of gaining one
- Have the appropriate age, skills and behaviour for the vacancy that exists.
- Live within a feasible commuting distance (defined as a journey time of no more than 90 minutes in accordance with Google Maps).

Interested parents are asked to attend an open day or arrange an individual visit to the school bringing with them their son or daughter’s latest statement and any relevant reports. The child will then visit for an informal assessment. This is a chance for us to assess whether we can meet their needs – we are looking to get a feel for how the child or young person reacts to the environment, will play and interact.
