Small Steps

This charitable organisation supports parents and carers with children who have cerebral palsy or other motor and sensory impairments.

Small Steps works with children:

• Over 3  months and under 5 years of age

• With mainly physical disability or a significant motor delay

• Not in a Special School full time

• Likely to obtain benefit from the Conductive Education approach

• Whose parents / carers are able to attend sessions and be hands-on.

Small Steps can help:

• teach parents/carers to work with their children to learn skills they can use at home;
• motivate children to achieve stepped goals and increase their independence; and 
• boost self-esteem for both parents/carers and children.
