Ace Development Academy

ACE Development Academy is dedicated to more positive change for girls in a male dominated sport.

Launched in October 2017, Ace Development Academy was created solely for the development of young female football players aged 8 to 16 years who have a love of the game. Created by Allana ‘Ace’ Francis-Ashmeil her vision was to create a positive footballing environment that focused on skill development and confidence building. Ace Development Academy aims to link players with clubs, coaching courses and work experience, creating female football leaders of the future.

Training sessions are once a week and focus on the fundamentals of the game, as well as the theoretical side too.

Ace Development Academy is led by qualified FA coaches, and sees players come from a variety of playing experience. Our programme (which runs parallel with the school year) is structured to develop ball mastery skills, fitness, understanding of attacking/defending principles and more. Off the pitch the programme works hard to give players an all-round experience of the sport, with trips to Wembley Stadium, special guests, including pro players and our sports ambassador programme and more. We currently offer Saturday sessions for girls and boys aged 6-16 years.
