I am an Ofsted registered childminder since 2005. I live in a four bedroom terraced house in Tooting, South West, London. I have a son who is in Uni now and comes home on holidays. He loves playing sports especially cricket and tennis.

In my last Inspection ( August 2018 ), Ofsted awarded me an Outstanding grade in all areas of Childcare, Learning and Development. I love children and I enjoy working with them. It’s a rewarding job and it’s a joy to see them grow, learn and develop and gain their confidence as individuals. I truly care for them and treat them as my own. I use the ground floor area for childminding. I provide a warm, welcoming, safe and stimulating environment with a wide range of toys, books and equipment for all ages. I have a nice, child friendly enclosed garden where children can play safe and sound with the little trampoline, water and sand tray, wheelbarrow, mower, paddling pool and picnic table ( they love having lunch and dinner outside in the garden! and even breakfast ). They eat healthy foods( working in partnership with parents ), snacks ( fruits & veg sticks ) and drinks ( water & milk ) and encourage them the importance of good health and hygiene ( to wash their hands when coming back from playgroups/parks  and before mealtimes ) and use their own hand towels ( with their names labelled on pegs - one way to recognise their names). I enjoy reading and engaging with them in books- they develop the love of books and story telling, singing, dancing and role play. I am passionate about the importance of being out and about and maximising them in the summer. I make full use of the local playgroups, parks, water parks, music groups and picnics in the park ( in the summer ) and make this child’s experience as fun and fulfilling as possible.

Prior to my Ofsted registration, I was working as nanny for 15 years.I also worked in a nursery when my son attended nursery. I have a certificates in Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid, Risk Assessment, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene etc. I also have a Car Insurance with my business covered and Public Liability Insurance.

I have experience in setting daily routines, managing behaviour and sleeping issues and most often help and give advise to parents with issues. I also have experience in dealing with diabetic children ( I have one child in the past ) and children with allergies ( my son has severe nut allergy that he carries Epipen at all times). 

As a childminder, I pride myself on offering a reliable and professional childcare service with the flexibility of meeting the needs of the children as well as the parents.
