Thrive Battersea

Thrive is the leading charity in the UK using gardening to change the lives of disabled people. We offer various opportunities from formal structured training programmes to general sessions offering occupational and social therapies within garden settings.
Our therapists work with disabled Londoners in four gardens in Battersea Park and through community based outreach projects.
Thrive helps people with all kinds of disabilities, including:
- Mental ill health
- Stroke/heart disease
- Visual impairment
- Dementia
- Learning disabilities
- Older people
- Young people with special needs
- Veterans
Thrive have several programmes which are specifically designed to develop work and volunteer skills in Battersea and other areas of London. Our programmes are open to anyone over the age of 18, you are also able to self refer.
Once a month we hold a volunteer Sunday day, this is an opportunity to help maintain our wonderful gardens in Battersea Park with your friends and family.
