Thomas's Kindergarten

Thomas's Kindergarten, Battersea was founded in the crypt of St Mary's Church, Battersea in 1992.

St Mary's Church is a beautiful Grade 1 Georgian building in a spectacular location on the banks of the River Thames. William Blake was married here, Joseph Turner painted from here and Benedict Arnold is buried in the crypt.

Benefits include off-street parking with a large grassed area for outside play. Upper Kindergarten children also regularly utilise the facilities of Thomas's Battersea.

Thomas's Kindergarten follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and promotes its four principles, which are: A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development. With a firm emphasis on learning through play. We operate a free-flow approach for the majority of the morning, encouraging confidence and independence. Additional afternoon clubs are offered until 3pm, including sport, dance, stretch and grow and drama.
