Latchmere Leisure Centre - Discount Membership for WAND Card and WAND Card+ holders

offer a special FREE  membership  to WAND Card and WAND Card + members and

Free Carers Access membership is also offered for those who accompany a WAND Card member.

This gives free use of Swimming, Gym and playzone ( up to 8 yrs old)  for WAND Card Holder and parent/carer

Please visit Latchmere Leisure Centre to apply for this discount membership, to find out about how to book sessions and for information about times and other facilities at the centre.


The WAND card holder and one parent or carer can request fast tracking to swimming.  To make your visit as stress free as possible, please try to avoid the busiest times of day and go early or later in the day.  In the first place, contact the centre before your visit. All staff have been informed and they should be able to direct you accordingly.   However, if a member of staff is new or unfamiliar with the WAND card, please explain that this has been approved by Places Leisure Management.

Babies, children, young people and adults of all abilities are welcome. You will need to pay to use these facilities, unless you are a WAND Card holder. 

The service provides many activities and facilities including:

  • soft play area
  • large gym
  • sauna
  • sports hall
  • swimming pool with wave machine
  • swimming lessons
