Child Tax Credit (CTC)
Child Tax Credit is money that can be claimed from the government to increase your family's income.
Parents can claim for children under 16, or children aged 16 to 19, as long as they are in certain types of education or training.
Child Tax Credit (CTC)
- increases your family's income;
- is made up of different parts including, more if you have a disabled child, and;
- extra if you have a severely disabled child.
The government's Revenue and Customs website has an online calculator which you can use to find out whether you qualify for CTC (and Working Tax Credit) and how much you should get.
