Your Local Preschool Roehampton

Your Local Preschool Roehampton is a community preschool with a friendly team dedicated to quality childcare for children aged 2 to 5. We welcome all members of the community.

We want children to feel safe and happy. We want to give children many opportunities for play and learning in their early years, fundamental for the development of healthy, happy children.

We offer a supportive environment, where we welcome partnership with parents and carers, listening to them and learning about their child. We value each child’s unique character, gently encouraging their creativity and confidence. We provide learning support for children with special educational needs.

Notes

The Focus Hall is a community hall part of Alton Estate in the Roehampton area. It’s located on Minstead Gardens which is a quiet one-way road making it safe for families. There is free parking on the road for parents or carers to use. The hall is walking distance to Mosaic Jewish and Alton Primary schools making it convenient for parents and carers to drop off and pick up siblings.

The building has 2 gates for entry, 1 for cars and another for pedestrians which are both locked for children’s safety. There is a garden in front of the building mostly covered by grass making it safe for children to run around and some roofed area that can be used in all weather conditions. This area is used daily as an outing for all children.

There is a spacious entrance hall where all children are welcomed and get ready for the exciting day ahead. It is also a useful space for a quiet conversation. There are 2 floors in the building however we will have the sole use of the ground floor making the access safe for children. The hall is big with plenty of space to move freely and accommodate up to 36 children.

There are several toilets available for the children and adults to use right by the entrance of the ground floor hall. There is also a separate disabled toilet next to these which can also be used for nappy changing.

We believe that the location of the venue is ideal for bringing the local families together which we, Your Local Preschool Roehampton, wants to achieve.
