Are you afraid of someone close to you? Being scared, humiliated or controlled are not how you should be feeling in a relationship. Domestic abuse can be physical violence. It can also be psychological, emotional, sexual or financial.
If you think you are in an abusive relationship and want to stop the violence or leave, there are a number of agencies that can help you.
- Domestic Violence is a serious crime and will be taken seriously;
- The Community Safety Unit has both male and female trained officers that will offer you support and advice; and
