ClearVision Library
ClearVision is a charity which operates a postal lending library of mainstream children's books with added braille. It is run from Linden Lodge School.
The books all have braille (or Moon), print and pictures, making them suitable for visually-impaired and sighted children and adults to share.
The books are sent direct to your address and there is no postage to pay. Membership is free to families; organisations such as schools, libraries and VI services pay a heavily subsidised annual fee of £50. Long loan periods enable repeated reading of favourite books.
ClearVision also has a collection of around 800 handmade tactile picture books, in which all the images are designed to be explored by touch. These are for loan through schools and Sensory Support Services
