Woodcraft Folk
Woodcraft Folk provides an informal and supportive environment for young people to develop their ideas, share experiences, explore opportunities and make life-long friends in their locality.
Groups are divided by age: under 6 year olds are known as 'Woodchips', 6 to 9 year olds are known as 'Elfins', 10 to 12 year olds are 'Pioneers' and 13 to 15 year olds are 'Venturers'. Our older teenagers and young adults are known as DFs (District Fellows).
Activites include:
- games, drama, discussion;
- crafts, singing and dancing; and an
- educational programme based on awareness of issues both local and global.
Groups meet weekly, contact the local organiser who will then tell you where groups meet in Wandsworth. A small contribution may be asked for.
