Waste Not Want Not - Battersea
Waste Not Want Not Battersea aim to keep perfectly good food in circulation and avoid it going to waste, whilst helping to educate and feed local people.
They collect surplus food from local markets and supermarkets at the end of the day and turn it into meals for people in the local community. They also run:
- food sharing events every Wednesday at The Venue and Thursdays at Providence House
- healthy eating sessions at Providence House on Thursdays
- feast and film where volunteers cook and then everyone can come down for a meal and inspirational film on the first Friday of every month
- homeless outreach on the first Saturday of every month
