Standards of Service

Family Information Service's Standards 

  • Our telephone enquiry service will be staffed between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
  • We aim to answer all telephone calls within 15 seconds
  • We aim to respond to all telephone messages within four working hours and all telephone messages left out of hours will be responded to by 1pm the next working day.
  • We aim to respond to written or email enquiries within one working day of receipt.
  • We aim to update our lists of childminder vacancies every two weeks.
  • We aim to update all other childcare information within five working days of receipt from Ofsted.
  • We will offer an appointment service. Please call for more information.
  • We will acknowledge all complaints within five working days.
